So this past weekend, I changed my hub bearings cause they were all messed up, changed the shocks, and brake pads. Now everytime I brake and just when I am about to come to a complete stop, there's this tapping/rattling noise on the petal. It sounds like it's coming from somewhere in the engine. There's no pressure loss on the petal, nor is there a leak. It only happens when I step on the brake and come to an almost complete stop.

Any idea what it is?

hmmmm, did you put shims and brake quiet goop on the rear side of the pads? Did you put back in the clips on both sides of both the calipers on each hub?

Did you tighten up the bolts that hold the brake calipers?

Maybe the rotors are warped...maybe "messed up" bearings could have worn the rotors unevenly...just a few guesses.
