Hello fellow g20 owners! I just got done replacing my alternator, and after I cranked it up, it began to smoke pretty bad. so I got underneath it and found that it appears the a/c clutch bearings have gone out. So I'm wondering, can I bypass this, and if so, what size belt would I use? Do they make a g20 without the a/c? I guess that would be easiest, but I can get one made if I have the right measurements. I'd rather bypass the clutch anyway, just for a little extra power. Is my thinking in this correct? Will I get a little more HP out of the engine? I'm not above sacrificing the a/c for more power. Anyway, thanks in advance.

you could take a piece of rope, & wrap it around the nessicary pullies, & mark it when its snug & then go find a belt that long
