Mine broke at exactly the same spot. I ripped the whole thing off and drove like that for two years, sounded pretty good actually and cops never bothered me.

Mines too but it's a $12 fix. I went to Advance auto a picked up a 2" flex pipe like the one in the link below and 1 extra clamp since only 1 comes in the box. just cut the flange off and put this between the 2 pipes. it just goes over the oem pipe

i am looking around aftermarket muffler that fits 00-02 .
nothing is exactly fit.
you guys please recommend some good muffler.

If by tons you mean barely any then you are right lol

You might find a few bolt on ones here and there like remus or nismo or a JDM that is direct bolt on but most you will find are universal. Check http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com/servlet/StoreFront for a full replacement
