I had a engine serve light on so i scan the car for the codes because i need to smog the car and when i did i had a p0335 and p0136, i had both fix and clear the code then drove it to smog then the p0136 came back on which was why i didnt pass so im stuck. I keep hearing a click under the car which was coming from the cat is my cat going bad? My car was fine on its way to pass but then it throws the p0136 code is there another sensor that im missing

Cat clicking is just heat expansion, a lot of cars do that. the O2 sensor is a common code and many things can cause it. For instance if you have an exhaust leak, a bad O2 sensor, the cat being bad. An easy way to test if its actually the cat is to get a laser thermometer, Harbor Freight has them for about $30+. The cats job is to heat the exhaust to burn off unburnt fuel. So a working cat will have a higher exit temp on the exhaust than the inlet. Usually by 50-100 degrees.

Been fixing my car for a while put a new rear 02 sensor but the code this comes back and i hear air whistling behind my intake manifold so im guessing its a vacuum leak but im not sure where its coming from. Could this possibly cause the code p0136. Sometimes the p0400 comes on
