ok I know that some people have tried roots type superchargers on the SR20 but what about using a centrifugal supercharger...?

I heard that they can make more/more efficent power than a roots type charger...and the low end grunt would be awesome for taking off

Im guesing you would need to customize a shaft for the pulley and then mount the charger on the other side of the motor...but it seems do-able and you could easier intercool it if you want to

it would be pretty cool to see

A. it's WAY more expensive than a turbo.
B. it's WAY less efficient than a turbo (more heat = less power)
c. it's WAY harder to plumb than a turbo.
d. See any trends developing here? =)
