I bought my 96 G last year and love it since. I have no problem with this car whatsoever. But I found a leak in my coolant reservoir and decide to change it myself. I would appreciate if anyone could share his knowledge/experience with me. Do I have to fill the hose between the coolant reservoir and radiator with coolant after I changed it? What kind of coolant do you recommend?( I don't have the service manual).

Thanks in advance!

I dont know if you HAVE to fill it. But I didn't. I took out mine out to dump the old coolant and to clean it up a bit. But you do have to loosen the nut on the thermostat to keep the air bubbles out. You should see an arrow pointing to the correct bolt. And I used the Prestone green stuff mixed with Water Wetter. Now the coolant looks orange! It was not hard to pull out at all. For the most part the G is pretty easy to work on.
