I need to replace a tired OEM suspension on my 1999 P11. I'm interested to know why folks would be interested in AMR and Agility Corp. setups when a big name company like Tein makes the SS's that seem to have lots of positive feedback and cost about the same? I had them on my B14 and they were a solid setup. I'm not trying to challenge anyone's decision but as I'm looking at replacing my suspension I'm genuinely interested in making the most informed decision possible.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks for posting that thread up. I had seen it and while it does list our options and the features of each setup, it lacks in a couple of key areas. First, there aren't alot of reviews on many of those setups. I know from personal experience that I wouldn't care to pay money for s-techs, intrax, K-Sports or D2's. I feel that regardless of the features and advantages listed, the quality on the K-Sports and D2's is fairly shoddy. The S-techs and Intrax springs are pretty rough rides in my opinion and I've seen alot of premature strut failure when using them.

I guess that I'm hoping to find out some new information that would convince me that the Tein SS's actually have a quality competitor out there.

Why? What gives you high hopes even before we have a compehensive review? Is there a really great reputation behind Agility Corp. setups for other vehicles?

Well the ksports have a nasty reputation, the AMR groupbuy didn't exactly go very well...so who knows the quality of those...it be nice to have a good coilover setup that works.

Give Andy a call.. looks like he is really close (days away) from being able to ship them out....

I know he has extra P11 sets available but I also know he is still waiting on 1 or 2 people to pay up in the group buy...

I was just looking into it... i dont think agility corp is even a real company...

i'd be careful since technically they could just run with the money if they wanted since they dont have to report to anyone...

i was checking out the other one AMR and they are registered and i've seen their suspension in person... its pretty damn good.

just a little food for thought.

and Steve drove our P10 a few laps on the track with the AMR suspension ..and will soon be driving our P10 (with AMR suspension) a few hundred miles RT from Chicago to South Haven, MI in Sept.....

We are going to the track and only have a 1 car trailer so Steve is driving the P10 since it is street legal and insured, etc.

I know i'm not trying to bash them or jump to conclusions, but just saying i didn't see them registered as a buisness unlike AMR. I've dealt with some companies before that take money and take off, i'm not saying they are, but I just wanted to let others know that they aren't registerd as a company. To some people it matters.

We're a registered corporation, not just a DBA. We're not going anywhere

Damn Jon, you are too fast! Beat us to the punch. :p
