I own a 93.5 g20 but i looked under my hood a few days ago and to my surprise the vehicle identification plate was a little strange:

Model : BBYALGFP10ENAKABAG
Color Trim : KJIC
Engine : SR20(DE) 1998 WTF
Trans Axle : RS5F32V FM40
Plant : T

The Vehicle certification tag in the door says my car was produced in 6/93

On the SR20DE forum it says that JDM motors have Ribs n circles on the passenger side of the head(looking from the right front wheel). I have thoseribs n circles. Do I have a JDM engine swap done at a dealership with the USDM intake manifold?

:hurt: Stewart's gettin' upset:mad:

1998 cubic centimeters.
2.0L racing engines can't be 2.0L according to regulations. So manufacturars make them 1999 cubic centimeters or a little less depending on design.

I don't know about that. 87mm bore and 87mm stroke just happens to work out to 1998cc. Who's going to say they have a 1.998 liter motor. ;)
