I was given very sad news late last night. His ex-gf reached out to me on FB and I called her late last night only to find out our good friend Dema passed away on Friday.

I do not know details, as I did not pry information. She mentioned overdose, not sure from what exactly or how.

This is not going to be a place to judge him or bash what he has done.

If anyone had the opportunity to meet him and get to know him, you'd surely agree he was a great person and would go out of his way to help you. Everyone has their downfalls, and in this case, it got the best of him.

His ex told me that he loved us all very much and constantly spoke very highly of us. The services will be in Houston on Thursday or Friday. If anyone is near there any would be able to attend and behalf of us that would be so great. I unfortunately can not fly out there or I would be.

She also mentioned if we can put together some videos of him from the meets where we all hung out and post pictures that you have of him.

He was a great kid, and that's how I will remember him.

Let's honor him that way!

Dema was a nice kid for sure. He clearly went out of his way to try to fit in, and as was mentioned, help out where he could. He was fun to hang out with, there is no question about that. He will be missed... RIP Dema.

Dema was a genuine guy. He was always willing to help others even to his detriment. I feel sad that he always looked to fit in and to please others but never seemed to at ease. Knew dema, he was a good man, despite what ever differences people had with him, a lot of his troubles were out of his control, either physically or emotionally.
