Ok so everywhere I've been calling is charging me at least 175 to install my Eibach Pro Kit.

I was wondering if anyone has DIY on how to do it. So I can get an idea of how difficult it is and wat I need. And if its possible for a numbnut like me to install them on my own.

nope....$H!T forgot that I would need one of those. I just don't wanna pay like $180 to get the springs installed...for crying out loud I only paid $140 for the actual springs.

I don't know when I'm getting my shocks so I wanna just lower my car for now.

I called an alignment specialist around here and also like three of the most popular aftermarket shops in Boston and they all quoted like $175 or $180. Freakin bs. So I guess I'll just put them on at that price. oh well. Thanx for your help guys.

You should be able to rent some spring compressors from a parts store or something like that in your area. I think I paid like $25 for the rental, but that was a few years ago. Or just buy it, its probably not all that expensive. Especially if you intend to ever change springs in a car again. Just my $.02.

try different auto parts stores...some will lend you the high $$ tools like a spring compressor if you ask. Im sure you have to put down a credit card number....

70, 90 bucks!!!!! Are you kidding? damn I'm getting jipped. Hmm...where else can I call?

Damn...I gotta search around. Thanx domiken.

I was going to just cough up the 180 but I think I'll do some more searching. I'm in no particular rush other than the fact that I had the enormous nastiness of a wheel well.

Plus I"m getting my rims next week so I think I'll wait till I get everything and just do it all at once.

I'd like to point out that I am not lazy and I did call everyone and the cheapest was $175 and if you can find a place to beat that price in Boston and is a respectable company then I'll give you props cuz there isn't one.
