I was just curious, does having mudflaps contribute to any parasitic drag..or do they help create eddie currents (turbulence) around the side of the car?

i think what they do is keep mud from flying from your wheels onto the door and rear. i'm pretty sure thats all they are for.

note* I took mine off anyhow because I slammed it on coilovers and the flaps would scrape something awful.

Next Question......does or has anyone experienced significant gains with Spoilers of any sort? I'm looking to get one by summer: not too sure If i want an OEM, simple low, or one that'll make my car look like a Shopping Cart.

I replaced mine with rubber ones from Kragen that have two cherries on it.
I got the trucker girl ones.

If you pull RV you need them. I pull an Airstream and road gravel will pit the Aluminum surface. I now have a factory designed stainless still sheet on each side.
