So finally after rebuilding my motor i was able to dyno this last saturday at the Utah Nissan Annual Dyno Day
It put down

277.7 whp
275.1 wtq
@17 psi

I have done similar setups and they usually spool faster And make 300/290 at 16-17psi. The ones I have done in 3rd gear, full throttle at 3000 makes full boost by 4000 at the latest.

Either way that setup is a great street setup

yeah i hit full boost at 4500
Im not sure if high altitude will play a part on spool time i know it affects hp a bit.
This was a 4th gear pull wasnt sure if i should of done it in 3rd or not.

An yeah. I didn't think about altitude. That is actually a big factor and probably why. You should try smaller IC pipes as that will help spool faster because you will have less air volume to pressurize. I made 500whp on 2" and 2 1/4" pipes.

4500 is a bit late for such a smaller turbo. Than again. I have never used BC cams I. Boosted sr20 either
my sisters nutrients s13 isn't hitting full boost till 4800 /5000 rpm. He is using my old jgy bb37 with 86ar turbine
But tomie 270 cams and an external hated stock many 17.5 psi spring.

but one thing I would do is a boost leak check. Rfl bovs leak boost even brand new because they are a flawed design.
And over time they leak even more. If you have a knock off part chances are you are bestselling pretty bad and loading good power and response and over working that poor turbo

Did you install cam gears or just straight up cams? Also what C/R is your engine?

No just running stock cam gears.
CR is 8.5:1

First off I must say.....I Love Utah!!!!!! Does the altitude affect things that much because those numbers seem jus abit low for 17 pounds of boost.

Awesome thanks! Yes unfortunately the higher altitude does affect your hp and i think it affects NA cars more than turbo cars. Im pretty sure if i went down to sea level and dyno'd id be closer to 300whp
Its about a 3-4% loss per 1000ft of altitude.

Just get a boost leak check done. More than likely the bov is gonna be a big one.

If it is you should see a significant power and response in the but dyno.

IM keeping in mind that your car isn't really tuned for it's elevation.
