Ok, trying to clear a CEL by reseting the ecu...read in the FAQ that you turn the key to the ON position, and then rotate the flathead screw fully clockwise, wait 2 seconds, then fully counter-clockwise. So I do this, turn the key off, start the car and idle it for 5min. CEL is still on???

Am I turning the right screw? There is only one on the outside, do I have to take off the top plate and mess with something directly on the ECU board? I saw the red led light go off when I turned the screw, and then it blinked twice and turned off when I turned the screw back. Please someone tell me if I'm missing something...

u did do it right. it is probably something else.
