Why would you need to do maintenance on it?
EGR Valve Maintenance
Can anyone tell me if there is an interval to do maintenance on the EGR system. I have a 2K P-11 and have never done anything to it. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have read posts here where the egr system has been plugged with carbon which affected engine performance causing idling issues.
