The sticky console can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol to remove the mess. I've done this on a few P10s. It takes a little bit of elbow grease and a few paper towels, but it's cheaper/easier than buying a new one!
Lol i just figured this out the other night. I went through all kind of products and rubbing alcohol seemed to help. Still kinda tacky but after the rubbing alcohol wipes it off i put some Simoniz Vinyl protectant on it which seemed to smooth it up a bit. I didn the bottom of the dash part, but the ebrake surround piece is giving me hell...I need to pick up some more elbow grease, what a pain! The sticky console can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol to remove the mess. Yep, lots of elbow grease and paper towels! I found that one of those rough green scrubbing sponges works pretty well, just try a small area first to see if it scratches the plastic under the sticky mess.Lol i just figured this out the other night.
