Inspired by Rush's thread.... http://www.g20.net/forum/showthread.php?t=46624

I thought I'd ask what everyone's first film was that they saw on video and for the younger generation on DVD :p

I distinctly remember the first video my parents rented after getting our Video machine...I believe it was a betamax :zoinks: .... was Scanners. I found out on the net that it was released at the cinema in 1981 so it must have been a couple of years after that for the video. That would make me around thirteen when I watched it.

I bet you younger guys can't imagine growing up and not having a video/dvd player up to the age of thirteen and the only games machine was an Atari 2600

i dont remember my first movie on tape, but i remember when the 8 bit nintendo came out, and i begged my father for it, he said "for your birthday". i waited and waited and when he made good on his word he played mario brothers more than i did. he even hurt his thumbs he played it so much. as far as anyone i know, hes definately the man, and the coolest person i know.

You'd love Dave Evans' car at car shows then Colin. He always has Top Gun playing on the screens and through the subs etc. He has a 17" widescreen TV in the back now too....
