So, my P11 Primera had stood quite a few years before I got it on the roads a few months ago. I checked the power steering fluid last week, and it's dark brown, so maybe..it wouldn't do bad to flush it.

All else should be clear about how it's done, but which is the return line to reservoir? A post here states it's the one at the side of reservoir, so I guess that means like in line with the reservoir's side? The one whose connecting point on the reservoir is vertical, not slanted? Also, Dexron III is a suitable fluid right?

How to flush PS system.
I have a p10, and the return line is the one that enters the reservoir from the front (bumper side), not the one directly under the reservoir. The one under the reservoir supplies the pump with fluid.

Alright thanks, got it done and now it actually seems like the steering might be a bit lighter!

What do you mean by "lighter"? Easier to steer? Any noise from the pump or bubbles is the fluid in the reservoir?
