has anyone found a different style fog light other then oem ? only reason i ask is oem cost around almost 200$ each per fog light... not trying to pay all that just wanted to see if anyone used a set of fog lights from a different vehicle that fit or close to it for a cheaper price ?

You can buy JDM ones from me for $150 plus shipping for both, and they come with the finishers. (The little plastic things that are on either side of the light.)
Someone tried fitting some aftermarket Civic projector ones but the shape is off so it's a lot of work.

they are usually available on the forum for $150 a set. I think there's a set of jdm ones posted in the fs section.

As others have said, find some JDM fogs. Just be ready to cut and splice two wires as the JDM connector is different from the USDM.

Question - what's with the other JDM fogs that are not completely clear (and are more like P10 headlights with the lines in em)?

Those are the zenki (pre-facelift) fog lights . They were found on the earlier P11s in Japan and Europe.
