Ok guys, started smelling fuel occasionally so and could find a leak. Smell seemed to come from mid car apparently above the tank. Checked the top of the gas tank through the fuel pump access and found the plastic sending unit is cracked and fuel is leaking through when the tank gets a little pressure. Infiniti and Nissan say the part is discontinued and there seems to be no aftermarket support. Any ideas on what to do. I already replaced the big o-ring and giant plastic nut. But the plastic fuel sending unit or fuel pump housing is impossible to get new. Help!

Yeah unfortunately this is one of those it will last forever OR break on you at a weird time. I would take up Y2KG20 on his, or find one in your local junk yard. Its a chassis specific part so its not shared with a bunch of other B series chassis, or it'd be easier to get a hold of new.
