I just wanted everyone to compare there MPG or Km/L for the G20 so we can compare
SPECS:

-Fuel economy EPA highway (l/100km): 7.6
-Main 60 liter unleaded fuel tank

REQUIREMENTS:
-post engine mods
-recent repairs that would affect mileage(tune ups, oxygen sensors, etc.)
*****NO BABBLING about irrelevant offtopic ISSUES*****

I recently had my O2 sensor changed and came back from Chicago and my best was:

542.4KM to a 60Litre tank = 9.04km/L
or
337miles to a 15.9gallon tank = 21.26mpg

I think I did the math right

i get about 25-26 on it all city. when i got the car i was getting about 14. i replaced both filters, o2 sensor, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, pcv valve and hose, cleaned the injector connectors, replaced some fuel hose, adjusted the timing back to 15 degrees and changed the oil with valvoline high milage 10-40 (not that the oilchange shoudl effect it)

wait a min.. the p11 tank si 15.9 gallons?

fuck, i only get like 280miles to a tank.. what the hell is wrong with my car?
it is, but if its anything like the p10 it will run out with around 1 gallon still in the tank. to get your fuel mileage you should divide your miles to a tank by how many gallons it takes to fill up.

*edit: my beater 94 p10 (5spd 165,xxx miles) gets right around 20mpg, mostly all city driving, with alot of idling. 100% stock. i tend to have a lead foot. probably needs a tuneup. i also have the following check engine lights:

code 34 knock sensor
code 91 heated oxygen sensor (RH)

my 95 p10 (5 spd, 105,xxx miles) doesn't do too much better at around 23mpg, mostlly all city. when i drive all highway i can go about 400 miles to a tank (@28mpg)

I have an automatic 1999 Infiniti G20t (Touring Edition) Titanium (KR4) Build date of 07/98 currently with 141071 miles.

I think that I drive a lot, take maintenance seriously, and have a mild NA tune.

The tune being 17 degree timing, JWT S3 cams, JWT ECU, JWT POP charger, 4 UR Pulley set, and Stillen exhaust. I also have a Progress Maxima rear sway bar, Bolt in Bar rear strut tower brace, mod Maxima front tower brace, 16" Rota C10.

MPG and related data:

22.6026 Avg. MPG* [with a low of 18.4525 and a high of 38.6485 MPG]
$2.883 Avg. Gas per gal. cost*
$0.128 Avg. Gas cost per mile*
9.594 Avg. Gas gal. per fillup*
216.9 Avg. miles per fillup*

Everything has been changed fairly recently - the following is when they need to be changed next:

Update / Miles left till update / Item that has to be serviced or replaced
143146 2075 Oil Change
147846 6775 Rotate Tires
150003 8932 AFT Change
164540 23469 Fuel Filter Change
166986 25915 Front O2 (Oxygen) Sensor Change
184540 43469 Clean POP Charger
194000 52929 Drive belt Change
194540 53469 Distributor Cap Change
194540 53469 Distributor Rotor Change

I don't keep detailed mileage records, but I have gotten as low as 17 mpg on a tank on the old engine, and as high as 30 on about half a tank on the new one. These days I am usually around 23-25, with some city, some back roads, and some highway (and a heavy foot).

Current setup:

JDM highport engine with ~40k mi
Old injectors, O2 sensor, EGR equipment (170k mi? O2 may have been replaced before)
All new (40k mi) other sensors
New plug wires, plugs, fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor
Small exhaust leak in flexpipe

I get right around 25mpg on average. Though, I can blow through a tank in a few hours driving hard around town.
All i have is a CAI, SSAC header, no rear o2. Running around 71000 miles.

dang, 93 p10 with highport engine, new knock sensor, wai, axle back exhaust, new knock sensor, Auto tranny, new O2 sensor, Cleaned all egr, Pcv, Idle control, and new fuel pump. I get around 21 with half highway, half city... if mostly city driving 18mpg... These numbers are pretty reliable. seems very low to me but my car hauls so I don't complain... I think it might be faster than other auto G's ;P

I get around 22-23 mpg, but then again I haven't had this car very long (isn't winter-formula gas supposed to be worse on the mileage?) and San Francisco tends to have a lot of hills and stop signs, so I'd expect to get worse than the typical city mileage.

No long trips yet...

EDIT: '99 5-speed, fully stock P11.

'95 P10 about 130k. all i have is a hotshot cai and a set of nology wires. i'm suspecting i've got some sort of code going cause the power is all jerky when i accelerate. super lead foot, redline probably atleast 50% of starts. i go maybe 75% freeway which is always 80mph thanks to cruise control. i get anywhere between 25-29 mpg and seem to be 27 consistantly.

93 P10 auto (basically 200,000 miles)
19* timing 89 RON gas
X3 racing WAI
Mobil 1 Oil and filter
Copper Motorcraft spark plugs (provide a hotter/stronger spark than platinums)
Accel thundersport wires.

I get around 22-24 average.. 26 on a good day... I drive about 50 miles to and from work. Driving about 80 MPH and I am NOT easy on this car period.. She basically gets driven balls to the wall.. I'm sure if i drove conservatively I could milk a few 30's out of her..

When I wrecked the G I fixed my mustang and drove it.. When I first got behind the wheel of the mustang after driving the Infiniti.. I began driving the mustang just like the Infiniti (slow) and I got 20 mpg on my mustang by pussy footing the gas.. taking off slow from intersections and coasting to stop lights.. Normally I would average about 17 (especially with an automatic transmission and also the 86, 87, 88 mustangs didn't have mass-air so they were fuel hogs) but I was getting 20 and when I would travel about an hour away I would get 22-23 out of my mustang.. which is insane for an auto tranny and that year.. LOL

Gas mileage has a lot to do with the way you drive it...

It may be rare that this stat comes up, so I'll give it...

Filled tank till overflowing (oops).

Drove [email protected]/h on the HWY back from Toronto, no stops, no slow downs.
It took exactly a full tank...I was on fumes when I got home.
