Halp: SES: P0325 and P0171

Bought the car with the SES light on. Seller said it "sometimes comes on after I get gas". I figured the gas cap wasn't on tight enough.

Took the car up to autozone to pull the codes.

P0325 - Kock Sensor

P0171 - Bank1

I'm thinking I need a new knock sensor and MAF. Opinions? I've searched and read through about 20 threads on here. There is super conflicting information and everyone has a slightly different issue due to different combinations of SES codes.

I had Autozone clear the SES. I want to see if it comes back on.

My engine is filthy and will be degreased and detailed on 17-Sept. I've heard filthy engines can contribute to SES codes for sensors. Maybe a cleanup is what the engine really needs.

Since the codes have been on since I purchased the car, I don't know if it's running poorly. I don't hear any knocks and the car seems to be as peppy if not more peppy than my auto P10 was.

Thoughts?

Common maf code. Fix that and most likely both codes will disappear.

Awesome answer! I was hoping I wouldn't have to fux with the knock sensor. It's in the back of the engine and difficult to get to.

I guess I'll clean the MAF first. Otherwise, I might try to scoop a used one.

Thanks Rob
Obtain.I it's fuel stem lean bank 1
