I need help with this stupid long alternator bolt and some idiot who worked on it last had it bolted where it slides out and hit the frame and not the opposite side to the intake manifold. I know some people suggest cutting it and fyi, I lowered the engine motor mount and still had no clearance to take out that stupid bolt that hits the frame! Does anyone know if I can jack up the motor mount and it someone has room to be pulled all the way out? Or am I lowering it wrong because I removed the front passenger side tire and tried lowering it and still didn't have clearance to pull it out. Is cutting off the bolt my only option and then replacing it with a new one?

if I remember, forgot the years but some p11 came from factory with the bolt installed the other way around. Either cut it and get another bolt or undo a couple of mount so the engine can drop enough just to pull the bolt out.
