I'm putting on OZ Racing Chrono Evoultion wheels (17") and bridgestone Potenza RE 730 (205-40-17) I'm gonna lower with H/R springs and KGB shocks. I'm thinking of lowering 1.5 or 1.7" The only think that I'm concerned about is rubbing if I go that low will I have a problem? Also I'm gonna have to drive the car in the snow occasionally so I don't want to go too low

shouldnt have a problem with rubbing on 17's.. we have people on 18 and dont even rub so ur fine with that... as for the snow, maybe u should go with coilovers so u can adjust it when it snows

You will not rub, my guarantee. Why? I have the KYB/H&R combo and I am on 17's w/ 215/40 Tires (even bigger than yours)

Good choice on springs, shocks. The H&R's will give you a nice clean drop, not to overly done. Be ready to get a change in the ride. Even on the lowest settings, the ride will be kinda stiff.
