Tried searching but no luck. I have a 99 P11 with factory alarm. A while ago, I lost my key fob so I no longer had keyless entry. All I've been doing is using the key to unlock the doors.

Unfortunately, it seems as if a sensor in the driver's side door has failed, because now when I unlock the door from the driver's side while the car is armed, the alarm will go off.

This does not happen when I unlock from the driver's side.

How can I disable the factory alarm for the time being? Also, anyone know if this is a easy/quick fix or do I need to replace something?

There is a disarm wire in the door, that works off the lock. Look up a remote start wiring diagram and find the "Factory Alarm Disarm" wire. It might be broken in the door.
