Spec V rear tranny mount, need to make proper mount on B13, B14 and P10
Spec V rear Tranny mount bracket, need to make proper mount bracket on B13, B14 and P10

Make sure the guys at the junk yard dont break anything as the remove the parts

Axle bracket for P12, order from Greg V
Bell housing for P12 20V tranny, order from Greg V

JWT Flywheel for 6 speed tranny on SR20DE also known as S15 flywheel
300zx TT 250mm clutch for turbo cars and 240mm clutch for NA cars

If you are NA use the 02-03 Spec V tranny.
If you have Turbo use the 04-06 Spec V tranny.

If you have a P11 car this is a very easy install. I dont even need to give instructions

If you have a P10 it is also easy but you wll have to put the Spec V clutch pedal in and convert to hydralic. You will also have to make an engine mount for the tranny passenger side.

B13 and B14s are a little harder.

You will need to convert to hydralic and also convert the B15 spindals from 4x114 to 4x100. There are many ways to do this, One way is to punch out the bolts, weld the holes shut and have the new holes drilled for 4x100. You should also be able to punch out the bolts and just redrill new holes making the hub a 8 hole patern with 4x100 and 4x114.

I have never tried this part but you might be ableto press out the center from the B15 and press it into the B13-B14. I havenot tried this so I dont know but should work.

On the B13 and B14s you will also need to trim a pc off of the cradle. This trimming will nee to be about 1.5inch deep and 3 inch long. This can be done by lining up the stock trany in the car then measurig the diffrence of the 6 speed tranny. Once done take tanny out cut and weld back in suport pc.

Anyway all said and done an easy install.

What are the benifits of this install?

1. Way stronger transmission.
2. Much better fuel milage on the highway.
3. Much better clutch selections 240mm and 250mm (215 for or cars)
4. Less chance of thrust bearing failure because of less clamping force by clutch

I believe Miko said it was from 700-900 for all the parts. So if you can do it yourself then its not a bad cost.

I was happy and sad in the same moment when I read the write up. My friend recently smashed his 06 spec V, I could have purchased all the pieces needed, but now the car is crushed.......

I am working on this with Andreas. Its not going to be that much. For you P11 people it will be even easier, probobly the easiest of all. You can easily do this for under $1500 for everything, trans, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, brackets, mounts, cables, shifter and so on. There are so many of these transmissions available that wrecking yards are selling them for as low as $300. i paid $350 for my 04 mint cond, super clean with a 1 year warranty. they had 9 more in stock at that price. I am just waiting for my bellhousing from japan...

As I understand it some of the parts are still in transit from Japan . But, the tranny, clutch and flywheel have all been sourced, purchased and delivered.

Give it a little bit of time. =)

I believe it's from a 20V VE motor, in a P11 in europe/Japan.
