Someone emailed me asking how to get the drivers side door panels off. Well, I tried to reply, but the emails kept coming back as undeliverable. So I thought I would post up in here in hopes that they will see it.

Make sure you have all the screws undone from around the edges. I think there are six of them. Then carefully pop the window switch out, and there is a phillips screw behind it. Undo that, and that should be all the screws. Then grab ahold of the armrest, angive it a pull up, and out. It should pop right out. Then reach back and unplug the window switch.

Hope that helped.

In addition to that

Before pulling the panel off, make sure and take off the plastic piece that is attached around the door lock and latch. As you pull up and out, be careful not to damage anything. Keep an eye out for your speaker because it is exposed and easily damaged. You also have to unplug the connector for the trunk/fuel release after removing the panel. I have found that getting the panel off is ten times easier than putting it back on. Just be patient and it will go. I've found that it helps to roll your window down all the way first. The main thing is be patient and don't get frustrated. If you do, you're likely to break something.
