Not sure if you can do it for non-heated PFMs, but I will let you know what I find out once I receive my heated+tinted glass from Nissan. I have no idea when I will get these mirrors, they said it was a special order. I am not touching my heated PFMs until I have everything, though... everything being 99 bases + heated/tinted glass. Once I have all of that, I will put 'em all in the same room and wait for them to mate... If wires connect directly to the mirrors, then you might be able to convert your PFMs into heated PFMs...

Actually, you already have heated mirrors, you should try and remove them to see how they connect. (but be careful, I hear the 02's shatter).

heated mirrors have their own harness. as long as u can fit the mirrors in the PFMs your fine.

'99 P11 USDM Bases
'02 Heated Dimmed Mirror Glass????

I have the same problem w/ the driver side angle of the mirror. I did change the glass from my sport mirrors. My question is do I need to buy 99 mirrors to use the base to get a better angle on driver side and passenger side. Please help?

I believe the 02s had a different base. my 99 and my old 00 was an easy swap. all I had to do is swap the base and mirrors and your all good

wiring is pretty simple when u look at the harness

same thing goes w/ the 01 base... and i actual installed my pass. side w/ that wierd angle w/ the jdm base...

If your talking about the off angle on the driver side when installed and pfm are folded in.. it's not AS folded due to the fact the angle on our driver side compared to JDM's pass side has more of an angle. jdm doens't make these for us usdm guys, but we still do it cuz it's sick and it makes us cool LoL not to mention the extra 10hp u get and make it 15 if u have the BLACK BOX LIKE ME!!! hahah ohhh and yeah Less DRAG but really how fast are you going and how much area do these mirrors take lol

2) In Japan the power folding feature has an extra box that (I think) sits next to the ECU. This is the auto power folding box. Anyone know how to get ahold of one (besides going to a junkyard in japan)?

1) should be fine, your just running a bigger wire. As long as space permits, should be fine.

2) You named it. That or JDMISME on ebay sells some sometimes. Or you could get an alarm with extra accessories and wire it up like Dane and I did.

I didn't measure exactly, but I would use a lot. You can always cut when you get to the switch.

I got mine in and never installed it yet... no time probably in the new year... cuz i 'm currently having an issue w/ the passenger sidel...

I have the same probem. My passenger side worked for awhile then just stopped working. I think jdmisme posted up a solution somewhere. I think it has to do with thermistors and soldering.

yeah i got my hands on stranded wire to replace the 1 piece wire i'm currently using and some wire taps.... so yeah hopefuly i can get this resolved shortly and finally install my black box....

Hey when u connected ur pfm to ur aftermarket alarm system did you have to find the single 12v pulse wire(line) i kinda need to locate that to install the black box....

sorry, I didn't do it myself. I had a shop do it when they put the alarm in. I would pm Dane, I believe he did it himself.
