Here almost 10 years later, I relocated (extended my rear o2 harness) and installed a cat after my header on a 2000 g20. I'm always getting p0138, sometimes it stays off for a few days, but typically always comes back.
The car isn't worth any money at this point, but I do need to pass emissions soon, going to give this a try.
P0138 still would come on then go off every couple cycles. Finally took the plunge today and wired the 1.2k ohm resistor into the signal wire (rear o2) and cleared my code. Also running a 16.9k ohm resistor in the plug (series wired) of the egr temp sensor harness.
Car is just too old, and emissions parts are too expensive to try to salvage on this car. Going to give it a few weeks, and see if the ecu is willing to cooperate, state of Illinois is hitting me with an emissions test every year, February is coming up fast for this car.
Any help or information on where to buy the same OEM transsmission , Bay Area hard to find one for a "T" . Shops, picknPull, online? What is the tranny code for easier Search? or any SR20DE tranny work ? just dont knowthanks
I am new to this forum and need some assistance with getting my engine swap to work. The swap was performed on a Nissan B14 (Sunny), however I saw a decent amount of wiring topics on this forum and was hoping someone can help give me some insight on my current problem at hand.
There isn't much information on the US roller rocker engine differences. Most just say they are all the same engine. This started about a year back when I swapped a 68k mile P11 roller rocker in my girls B15 and then it felt slower. Then I took her old B15 roller rocker and rebuilt it to factory...
Car is a 2001 A/T G20: In September 2018 the alternator went toes up. It was replaced by a shop associated with TechNet which offers a 2 yr/24K warranty. A few months later it devoped a symptom as I noticed the panel lights would dim and brighten inconsistently, usually worse when cold...
