Does anyone know a way how can I know if my IAC Valve and MAF Sensor are bad and need replacing? ... also like to check Throttle Position Sensor
No ODB codes, just a simple question...I do not want to start replacing things that are OK...
Get a Factory Service Manual (FSM) from eBay (on a CD) or download from phatg20.net. There are diagnostic protocols to follow to rule each component in or out as the problem. You'll need a decent volt/ohm meter as well- most of the items can be checked with one, and the value ranges will be in the FSM.
well an iac will sometimes act as a vacume leak or with the car under load rpms will rais without u throtling. the maf with the car idling gently take a screwdriver handle and gently whack the maf housing if the rpms change or the car stall its a bad maf. clean them both or have someone with a genisys scan it.
