The jist of it is that im connecting the "jumper harness" to the High beam wire and the HID ballast low beam wire on the relay harness correct?

Yes, you are tapping the high beam jumper wire into the lowbeam wire with the diode inline (make sure the line on the diode is like in the pic).

When you power the high beams on the OEM relay shuts off the low beam signal, but the jumper maintains that signal by tapping back into the lows...The diode provents that from always being the case.

Still got it hooked up...I use my high beams every day, a lot more ever since I tinted my headlights. I have never had a problem.

So since my Hi-beam and Lo-beam wires are both on my h4 connector (hi-beam spliced for duals HID) Then theoretically I could just cut a small section of the plastic both wires and candy cane + solder them without any extra jumper wire? Did that make sense?
Like this! Then Electrical tape the crap outta solder points.

Nope! Works perfect. Lo's take just a few more moments to get fully bright, and yes, it blinds the shit outta people...

ok this might be a dumb question but what if you want hologens for low and both hologen and hid for high? Do you still put the hologen(low beam) on a ballest? does that make sense?
