jeez ! that's a standard P11GT strut brace, be aware guys that these only fit if you have the GT top mounts we sell these for pennies over here cos they are no good to non-GT models.

I was told that it would fit by drilling and tapping the hole onto the tower.. I havent been on here all week. Been so busy with other shit. And I would assume everything would be cheaper over there, but try shipping something from england over here. Not trying to screw people over thats not my thing. I will do more research on the fitment of the strut bar. Has anyone here installed this on their p11without the plates?

That's the reason why I posted my car. If you look at the picture closely you can figure it out right away. I don't know why sonico3 keeps saying with UK GT top mounts. Seems like he knows my car better than me.

If I'm not mistaken only 2 us have done this on their G20 and I forgot the other member.

It can be done people with very little mod.

ok, let's make this nice and simple.... the whole point of fitting a strut tower bar is to stop the front struts and inner wings from flexing and getting out of shape during cornering. this is why the bar needs to be bolted to the actual top mount and not just the shell, by mounting to the shell by drilling/bolting etc, you are not keeping the strut tops located properly in relation to each other under stress.
bolting a UK strut bar to the inner wings/shell is purely cosmetic imo, for stiffness it needs to be bolted directly to the strut mounts. end of.

But G20's don't use struts. They're coil-over shocks up front, no lateral forces on the towers from them. Only vertical.

must be lost in translation ^^^ I know for a fact that all G20's, P10, P11 use a strut on the front, you disagree with this ? :surprised ...... you know of the macpherson strut yes ?

Yes, G20's don't use them on the front. P10 use struts on rear only.

Yup... The proper way to run this strut bar, 1 should grab the jdm top hat with added bolts. Yes you can simply drill n tap extra bolts onto the towers but I wouldnt recommend doing so. Im actually modding the same strut bar by welding it onto another plate and itll be bolted on using the stock mounting points
