So I just bought spec v calipers and rear maxima caliper brackets for a brake upgrade, but I read somewhere in the forums that the brake will engage lower on the pedal than normal. how would I go about making them feel like normal or more sensitive?

Step up one bore size on the master cylinder.
So if you have a 15/16" bore, step up to a 1" bore. It should say on the aluminum portion of the master cylinder which size you have.

Make sure you keep the master cylinder type the same, meaning if you have ABS master cylinder then step up to next bore size ABS master cylinder to keep the brake line mounting simplified.

So do I get another master cylinder that’s 1”or bore my current one out? And what would that 1” MC come off of?

Buy another master cylinder. Never attempt to bore out a master cylinder yourself. Not sure what car the bigger master cylinder will come from for P11 application.

There is no need to upgrade your MC for the brembo upgrade, the B15 spec v has the same size MC as the P11.
