So I got my grounding kit in and figured it would be the easiest thing to do.
It is except grounding the alternator.
I wasn't able to ground mine.
Can anyone give me some pointers?
I see a good spot to get ground at but I'm 6'2" and my hands are huge.
I can't get in there to do the job.
What do you guys do, remove the radiator and exhaust headers?

Here's the spot I'm looking at:

I could probably get at it if that hose wasn't there.
What is that hose, AC?
How and can I remove it for the install?

Please help, much appreciated.

try approaching the alternator from the bottom, if that doesn't work, just put that alternator ground anywhere else will work. For a couple of my friends, they just slapped that extra ground wire to another stock grounding point or just grounding the block again. Works just fine ;) Not worth removing header/radiator to ground it. :)

I just recieved my ground kit yesterday and also installed it. Today, I woke up to go to work, got in my car, and I started up the engine and it fired up quicker then before. I also noticed the radio sounds a bit cleaner and my power windows rolled a tad bit quicker as well.
If you dont buy this grounding kit, you will regret it.
Actually......if you dont buy these, you could die ! hehe ;)

My car only has 35k on it and even I noticed a difference.
After driving around a little bit I have noticed smoother shifting, starting, and acceleration... and I haven't even installed the alternator ground yet.
This kit rocks and is worth ever penny!

Got the alternator grounded, whew!
I had to have my girl get it for me from the underside.
My hands and arms are just to big.
I couldn't even fit one hand in the area need to work on it.
She was able to get both hands in there and do it with ease.

LOVE THE KIT, WORTH EVERY PENNY!

got it today and put it on. did notice a quicker start, and the voltage at idle went up from 12v to 13.5v. i didn't ground the alternator yet, but i bet it would raise my voltage to 14.5v at idle.

worth every penny :2cents:
