Well just arrived back stateside I wish I had time and $$$ to have done a few more things to the car but there's always next year... Until then I have my other project to keep me busy

Thanks dude! I agree it's pretty clean for a '91. Still it has a lot of eyesores that need to be fixored....Next year though I think it will go into the bodyshop. I have new taillamps, JDM indicators and a new rear bumper skin that are going on. Once it's all said and done it will definitely be one of, if not, "the" cleanest P10 in Greece...

What I've been up to...

As the Primera sits in Greece I still keep myself busy playing cars back here in SoCal...So from here on in I have to warn you:

The Scooby is getting the full treatment cosmetically and should be ready to pick up tomorrow as of this post.

A year or so of hoarding JDM parts has finally come to a head and the car has been in the bodyshop for the past 2 months getting everything from a new roof panel, colormatched wing/scoops/hood and shaved moldings (like the JDM imprezas). So I thought I'd post of few pics of the work that's been done so far.

The parts...

Genuine JDM Impreza 22B wing (the 22B is a limited edition widebody impreza. Only 400 were ever built...and they only came in Blue)

JDM STI WRC Sport Bumper (basically a 22B front bumper for non-widebody imprezas)

Burn-Up front lip (designed specifically for sport bumper equipped cars)

Solid Steel roof panel (eliminating the sunroof)

Impreza type-RA roof vent

JDM STI WRC roof scoop

JDM STI 22B hoodvents

CF replica Impreza S201 hoodscoop

JDM rear glass with wiper motor (USDM cars do not have this)

JDM STI S202 Oil cooler kit (Very Rare!!!!)

Hahah...I'd have to sort through a S#!t-ton of invoices to figure that one out. The bodyshop charged me around 4k for all the work. The parts...dont even get me started. Probably 5k in just the parts I listed above + numerous other parts...

The Impreza is Back!!!

Ahhh after 3 months of waiting she's finally back home!!! Some teasers I snapped last night..She's still a bit dirty but I think you guys can overlook that...

HAhahaha....Yea I hope the wife doesn't ever come across that link!!!I'll be in the doghouse for sure! The plan is to stay w/ the stock turbo and get an Open Source tune. I know the car is capable of somewhere in the 300 WHP range.

That's what I'm running now...Cobb St.2 for an '04 STI It sux...I need to add a few Gal. of 100 to keep it from pinging especially on hotter days...Supposed to be a CA 91 Octane map but I call Shenanigans!

Sooo...Updates updates....Well nothing much to update since I havent made plans to travel to Greece as of yet...But in the meantime I was thinking of pulling the trigger on this rare gem I found on Yahoo Auctions...My only worries though are that a FSBrace meant for an N/A SR wont fit over my GTIR manifold...Any thoughts????

i had that bar on my p10 and it cleared the lowport engine

gotcha, but I still think the GTIR manifold would get in the way... I guess I'll have to check out other members w/ GTIR swaps and see what their solution was...Thanks for the info!
