i am getting a new exhaust this week. complete system, (the old one has fallen off)

want opinions?

should i get 1 large back pipe? or 2 smaller ones? or 1 medium one? or what?

second on this point...whatever one i get should i, cut a hole in the bumper? leave it beneath the bumper? or cut a small oval (like you american guys on ur twin exhaust g20T?

Imo, 3" maximum. You may need to cut the bumper to keep ground clearance, depending on the size of the box/muffler.

I kinda liked a 4" tip on the 144 hatch. Seeing the roundness of the 144. :eh:

Anyway, 1 picture.

Seems like the angel kinda maked it a bit "saggy".

I guess it is a HKS Powers "wannabe" jap style can.

Edit:
By the Way, it is Loud.

My can have an 2,5" internal, and with the stock exhaust system, it was "just" bearable.
After welding some 2" pipes from the cat, it got way to loud for me.

I'm looking into maybe a equal sized backbox as the OEM one, with maybe a custom
welded tip, or just custom weld a universal tip for the oem box.

Might be just my head, but I'm pretty sure I lost a LOT of bottom and middle end
thorque with the straight through system. Just wasn't worht it for my part. :zoinks:

Had limited tools at hand, so I just used a sharp knife. Thats why it is a bit choppy,

If you have a plastic bottle or the likes similar sized as the tip you want, use this with
rough sandpaper and smooth out the hole after cutting.

Cut slowly and carefully, or you will cut more than you bargained for.

Or just use a Dremel? :p
