After a while of secrecy I can't keep these new developements quiet any longer. I am pleased to announce that my shop is in the process of fabricating some carbon fiber parts for the P10 G20. At my shop we have already done some work with carbon fiber and we are getting ready to produce some parts for the P10.
Here are some things we are already in the process of working on on my G20.......
trick carbon fiber subwoofer box in the spare tire well (almost complete)
Carbon fiber front splitter
New Carbon fiber door plliars
Fiberglass and carbon fiber rear deck
Interior Carbon fiber A-Pilliars
Full Carbon fiber Trunk Lid- Only around 18 lbs, this thing is insane (requires removal of inner tails and modification of trunk lock)
A Few Carbon Fiber engine dress up items
many more parts to come.....

I just wanted to wet everyones appetite for a while. We are trying to have the parts for my car done by the first of May. All parts will be clear coated for a nice shine. Once we have perfected them, I will begin to offer things on a made to order basis. I will post pics of some of the items soon. If you have something you want made, give me some ideas.

Re: Clarification....

I'd like a stock CF trunk lid. If it is exactly the same as the stock hood on the outside and inside. Also the exterior b-pillars.

We will try to get a hold of a stock trunk lid and make a form out of that as well. I will have more details and specs soon.

...but honestly i think it would be better painted, since it just sorta looks like his car was in a wreck and was never bothered to repaint the parts after the acccident from a distance
Yeah I saw a Audi with a front bumper in CF that looked like crap from a distance because it looks like the brand new car has already been wrecked and not completely fixed.
All I'm saying is that if the price is right, I wouldn't hesitate to get a lighter trunk, cause these stock trunks are freaken heavy as hell, especially with a spoiler.
Re: sub box details....

The full system is sponsored by polk/momo audio. The box is actually 3/4" MD fiberboard on the top sides (the rest is the tire well itself) and a carbon fiber mold on the top part and part of the sides. The subs face directly up. Really, it is a half box, the spare tire well itself serves as half of the box with our fabricated sides, front and back serving as the top part of the box. Everything will be sealed in place. The box is designed to sit about an inch or two above the trunk floor, so basically no trunk space will be used. There is no possible way to make the box 100 percent carbon fiber because it would not be strong enough to hold the subs.
BTW, the box will hold 2 12" Polk/Momo Generation 2 subs.

Good they are the same subs i have . Whats the price? o what about the trunk.
thanks. Frankie
CARBON FIBER DOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine how  lite our baby's will be with carbon fiber doors, trunks, hoods, then taking out the seats and hooking it up with a sparco seat, and slap on some light weight rims on. I think we'd be next to the sentra 2 doors.
so when u think i can get some some CF pillars?? also did u do that little pillar on the rear door??

you should think about some CF on the winshield trim on the sides near where the door opens
do you have any pics of your trunk lid that is being used for the mold? I'm also interested to see what the prices will run
Okay

1) never got to see the Vette conversion on your car.

2) Tunk lid I need some digits I'd love to be able to open my trunk with the button on the door.
Some Updates

Well, the rear deck is done (where the rear speakers are) and it is at the shop getting clear coated today. I will try to have pics by the end of the week. We did the whole thing in carbon fiber and it looks insane.
Probably one of the first things we will try to produce in quantity will be the door pilliars. Most of the other stuff takes lots of time and work. We have ran into some problems on the rear decklid, but when we have a prototype done I will let you know. A word of caution, we are working on my trunk lid, which has already been heavily fabricated, and for anyone else to use it, some modification will be needed (read: eliminate inner tails and relocate license plate to lower bumper) When we are done with that, we will make a perfectly stock mold. I need to get ahold of some OEM parts for some of the items.

At the moment, the sub box is more of a one-off item, I don't know how that can be "universal" because different subs have different requirements. So depending on what a person wants they may just have to bring their car in and we will design it to their needs.

Good idea. ;)

Do you have a guess on $$$ and time? I would like CF door pillar pieces and the strips in front of the rear quarter window.
Dude that shit sounds really sweet...im glad to see that the P10 is still getting interest and going strong.

You know as far as looks of a car...I still love the P10 and P11...nothing else really beats it.

Its awesome that guys like u that have resources hook up on this sorta stuff...keep it up!!!!
A Picture of the rear deck.....

Well, the rear deck is almost done. It just got back from the body shop where it was sprayed with three coats of clear. Everything follows the countour of the stock deck. We will be putting in the rear components on Friday (some minor cuts will have to be made) and hopefully will be installing it in the car on Friday.
Here are a couple of pics of the deck in the backseat of my Jeep.

What do you guys think? :cheeky:

The rear deck looks real nice! That picture was without theclear coat, right? Keep us posted on all your fiber works.
That's pretty sweet. Any ideas on weight of any of these products. How much does the rear deck weigh. Also is it made out of full carbon fiber or is it fiberglass with carbon fiber sticker on it. I'm assuming its real becuase of how it looks. Another question is the vinyl dye hard to use. Could I dye the vinyl part of my door panels? Thanks and way to rep for the p10.

I'm not sure yet, but I will keep everyone posted. I hope to have the door pilliars done by the end of April and some availiable for sale in Mid to Late May. This is just a guess right now.

It has the clear on in those pics. No sanding has been done to it yet. Also, there isn't barely any resin on top of that carbon layer because I really wanted the carbon to stand out. The finish depends on how you want it, you could put layer upon layer of resin and sand between each layer to achieve a really high gloss. From my experience, the clear adds to the strength of the top layer and prevents the strands from seperating. Keep in mind I am not an expert yet and am still experimenting with different ways of forming the carbon fiber.

How much does the rear deck weigh
I think it is around 5 lbs w/o speakers.

Also is it made out of full carbon fiber or is it fiberglass with carbon fiber sticker on it.
It's 100% Real Carbon Fiber

Another question is the vinyl dye hard to use. Could I dye the vinyl part of my door panels?
It's not really hard to use, just use good quality dye. And yes, you should be able to do your door panels.

2 questions

1) would the rear deck have the speaker holes cut out??

2) dye I wanna dye that beige crap on my doors and change the brown to black what should be done.

BTY that is sweet looking I agree let the CF stand out.
Any idea on what the stock rear deck weighs. Thanks alot
eheh the damn thing is like 2 pounds.
Nope the rear deck weights alot more than 2lbs. I'd say sloser to 15. Felt like it when I threw it out of my car whaen I was putting my Kappas in.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what about a p11!
