After a while of secrecy I can't keep these new developements quiet any longer. I am pleased to announce that my shop is in the process of fabricating some carbon fiber parts for the P10 G20. At my shop we have already done some work with carbon fiber and we are getting ready to produce some parts for the P10.
Here are some things we are already in the process of working on on my G20.......
trick carbon fiber subwoofer box in the spare tire well (almost complete)
Carbon fiber front splitter
New Carbon fiber door plliars
Fiberglass and carbon fiber rear deck
Interior Carbon fiber A-Pilliars
Full Carbon fiber Trunk Lid- Only around 18 lbs, this thing is insane (requires removal of inner tails and modification of trunk lock)
A Few Carbon Fiber engine dress up items
many more parts to come.....

I just wanted to wet everyones appetite for a while. We are trying to have the parts for my car done by the first of May. All parts will be clear coated for a nice shine. Once we have perfected them, I will begin to offer things on a made to order basis. I will post pics of some of the items soon. If you have something you want made, give me some ideas.

i know it been a l9ong time but are these parts still being made if so where can i get them from
Real deal carbon trunks are being made in 2023. Start saving now because they will be expensive AF.
Who is making them? I don't own p10 but down to buy
Who do you know that is crazier than me and spent like 30 bajillion hours building a p10?
If this is actually real I'm in for a hood and trunk.
Trunk comes first. Hood maybe later because most of us already have one.

First molding in japan has an aero vented hood available still for the p10 I got one last year to swap out my super old beat up carbon hood, it is really nice and stupid lightweight.

The place is called first molding?
Did you order it directly from first molding?

I bought it through Art of Attack in Rancho Cucamonga California; they build time attack cars and are one of the US distributors. Don't know who does it in Canada. Made to order, so it took like 9 months.

I wanted light as possible so I went for the full carbon version, both sides, no rain protector or mesh on the opening because it is parked indoors 50 weeks out of the year, basically unless I'm out at the track it is hiding in its cave.

So the options are full carbon, carbon top fiber glass bottom and full fiberglass?

How much does your weigh?
It can't weigh more than just a few lbs. I didn't weigh it yet, but I need to align it and finish the hood pin install. I'm thinking about getting a fish scale and pop it off real quick first.

When the box came I thought it was empty. Shipping weight was 22 lbs. I bet the box itself is at least 15. Then a ton of tape and bubble wrap and plastic sheeting.
How light is it vs the stock hood? Did you weigh it?
Probably like 45 with all the sound deadening and seals.

45lbs? Wow that's insane
Trbobrk I still need a carbon hood so I'm hoping there's enough of us left who a) don't already have carbon hoods and b) don't want a hood with a huge go-fast hole in it :).

I want carbon but I'd also want to be able to still run the acoustic damper material on the underside, which is the main reason I don't go with the First Molding version (despite your good reviews!).
Yeah I'll see about that. I think ideally it would be a stock hood first, then if someone wanted to cut a hole in it then make that part seperate. I don't know what is gonna happen though.
Well I guess it has been in the queue for a while but the carbon people started working on the trunk mold like two days ago.
