Ever since I put on my Tein SS coilovers and 18's about a year and a half ago, I've had hoorible shakes and wobbles between 60 and 65 mph. Well the other day I got home from work and checked my tires out and my drivers side front tire had a separation between the tread and sidewall almost halfway around the tire. I could actually see the cords. So I took it down, got a new tire and blammo; car rides like a champ. I even had a rim replaced last year because they said it may be bent and that's why my car had the shimmies. I was about a week from going back to stock, because I hated driving on the highway but all better now. WooHoo. Moral of the story is make sure you check your tires often for wear. That woulda been ugly had that tire come apart on the highway.
