Well I was checking and cleaning the spark plugs. I also started removing the spark plug wires from the distributor and forgot which goes where. I just put them thinking it wouldn't do any thing bad....nope car won't start  I did a little research and found the firing diaphragm. I put it back properly, but still doesn't start. I remove the spark plugs and noticed oil. Ohh shit. Now what?

There's a gasket around the plug holes when you do a valve cover gasket, that's leaking the oil.

Firing order for rwd is different than fwd I'm pretty sure, double check you are looking at fwd.

Yes it was the FWD firing order. I'll check everything tomorrow when I get up. Hopefully it starts

The gasket your talking about is not leaking oil. The valve cover gasket is clean. When i try starting the car, it makes pop like its miss firing.

Not talking about the valve cover gasket, read it again. Yhen go buy a vc gasket SET and fix the oil leak.

I still think you should spend the $20 and buy the gasket set so you can change out the spark ring gaskets and fix the leak.

Just put sealant on the spark ring gasket that is leaking,that will stop it for now.

That was recently changed, its not leaking, no need for a change. Thanks though

you should still probably change it though. even if you did it recent and its leaking, you might as well be safe. its only about 20 bucks. (its good to use sealant too)

Yea thats valve cover gasket set. I installed that a couple of months ago. The firing order is "1-3-4-2" but I had " 3-4-2-1" because of this http://autorepair.about.com/library/firing_orders/bl-fo-3388.htm

wow im going to write this in a very clear manner. NOTHING was leaking. Because I had it in the wrong firing order, it would dump wayyy to much fuel and the spark plugs thread would get a little bit of gasoline. Now that i have the firing order correct and fixed, nothing is wrong...."knocks on wood" nothing is leaking, NOTHING NOTHING IS LEAKING, everything is in place, everything engine wise is good.

I'm sure you meant oil on the plugs from inside the combustion chamber, rather than in the plug well, by the fact that you keep refuting this but it's odd you haven't mentioned that. lol

From my experience, I've had bad luck with Beckarnley for valve cover gaskets. Another thing, those little numbers on the distributor cap show the firing order
