My 99' P11 was draining the battery if it sat for a week or so. I charged the battery yesterday and everything seemed fine. Went out today and the battery is still charged but the car is completely dead. No,electric power at all to anything. Did I blow a fuse or ???? Ideas please.

Well, swapped batteries and it was the battery. Completely dead. Doesn't want to hold a charge just like the one it replaced. The thing is only a week old! Any idea as to what could be killing batteries this fast???

Have you checked the grounds?

Alternator is good but I need to check the grounds.

Best way to check your alternator:

1. Start car, let it idle
2. Isolate the load by unplugging neg terminal of battery

If the car dies; then your alternator went to heaven (dead)

My money is on the alternator.. i had a similar issue a couple of years ago. turned out to be the alternator.

you should be able to take your car to advance and they should have a the machin (meter) to measure the amount of electricity going in..
