Installing my JDM fogs. I searched the entire site and couldn't find helpful info. Should I swap the connector or splice the male JDM insert to the existing fog light wire?

Got impatient, spliced the wires, used the jdm connector. Everything worked properly.

wires are wires doesnt matter what country they come from. pick whatever connectors are cleaner and spice one side with solder and tape.

solder? oops! I did not solder.

I suppose if the connection comes loses, I'll just re-do em. I don't know why I didn't think to solder. My solder gun was sitting 5 feet away from me on the shelf in the garage.

Maybe If I redo them, I get some good electrical connectors instead of twisting and taping the wires. I did feel like my splice job was kinda ghetto, but I taped them up and covered them real nice! I guess the car is a bit ghetto anyways, so it probably doesn't matter!
