So my powersteering fluid is leeking. It's the level in the canester is going down about an inch below minimum and staying there.

I can't find the leek and it seems that whereever it's leeking it causing it to spray everywhere.

Any ideas?

If the pump is bad how much is it to replace?
If I take it out alltogether will it be a total bitch to drive the car?

You can't just eliminate the PS pump altogether because the water pump shares the same belt, and the water pump has to be turning for the engine to be cooled. So, unless you know the dimension of a belt that would run from only the water pump to the crank pulley, you have to have the PS pump and the water pump turning, sharing the same belt.
