Please excuse my ignorance as I've been out of the G20 game for a while now, but is this tranny direct bolt on to a VE engine? Also, which is easier to put together...this one or the spec-v 6spd or is there no difference?
This trans is a direct fit on any SR trans, the spec v is a bit more difficult because it will not bolt on directly to an SR engine. The first thing you have to do with a Spec v trans is to source a bell housing from a 20v trans like the one I have so it can bolt on.
If you have a G20 you need Shifter/cables, clutch/flywheel, axles with carrier bracket(I have these available) and driver side trans mount and bracket (From spec V).
Most of these parts you can use from a B15 Spec v 6speed.
This trans is in perfect working order, I part out engines and this trans came off the last 20v engine I parted.
