Primera stored, will drive a Santa Fe for the time being

Because of my recent move to Kinshasa, DRC, where I can not and will not drive my Primera, I have stored it in The Netherlands for the coming 2 years. I will be driving a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7 V6 4WD for the coming 2 years. The car only has 80.000 kms on he odometer. I will change suspension for some tougher stuff, as well as brakes + tires and will drive it like it is for the coming years. I will post some pics as soon as I can.

what a pity Luis, be sure you store it in the best conditions because 2 years is a lot of time for a car, ice, rain even small animals may cause several damages
No worries: it is stored in-doors, at a constant temperature, wheels off the ground and completely covered. I will check on it from time to time.
May I ask why the sudden move to the DRC? I have family on the east coast side in Kenya. It will be a quiet 2 year with out that Primera...
Kirru, we gotta talk buddy! I grew up in Kenya...

Sorry to thread jack, hear the Santa Fe's are terrific.....ah, back on point =)
No problem.....

Jambo !

I move around every 3 to 4 years, because of my job. I've done various Latin-American countries, Canada, various countries in Europe, and, time ago, Sudan, during which period I also visited Kenya various times, btw. Loved it (Nairobi but especially Mombasa).
You will need to share some pictures of Kinshasa, DRC. Seems like a potentially dangerous place to be moving at this point in time.
I will, in due course. It's an adventure, but with very interesting attractions. It is not so bad. Let's hope everything remains calm.

Just went out to change the airfilter-element of the Santa Fe for a 'Green filter' in-lay element.

When my household stuff comes in I will change shocks (to Old Man Emu ones), tires and brakes.

The 2.7 V6 is very smooth btw.
How can i get a job like yours? lol. be careful out there.
