Hello all, EU Primera owner here, noob question ahead.
My car's soon to be inspected and registered, so it can finally get on the roads. I checked the general condition and when I tested fog lights, front ones do work fine, but the rear ones...is there one or two? Only the left rear fog light glows..

EU cars only require one rear foglamp, on the passing/driver side. On a LHD car for the continental Europe market it would be on the left.

The idea is that it is supposed to be on the edge of the car so you can pass when visibility is poor. In practicality manufactures just build it into the taillamps, and on a Primera is isn't even close to the edge.

I've never understood why. Should you really be passing other vehicles when conditions are that poor?

If you want dual lamps, the other side lamp was made for it as it would be the fog lamp on a RHD UK model. It has the bulb holder, I don't know if they ran wiring to it or not, and the lamp is sealed so you'll need to punch a hole through the plastic.
