Let me start by saying Happy Easter!

After visiting the in laws, I noticed a brake smell coming from the rear passenger wheel. I touched the wheel not the rotor itself and man it was hot, the other side was warm.

I changed out the caliper and brake hose but still have the brake drag present. I hate to just throw parts at this issue.

My father in law suggested the parking park getting stuck...But if it's the parking park shouldn't both rear wheels lock up?

Has anyone had their proportioning valve go out?

Has anyone had only one wheel brake drag?

Is the e brake hung up? No both won't stick. Take off a wheel and look and compare both sides, be very careful, mine did this and when it sprung free it would of cut my finger off. Sprayed it with little penetrating oil, then tapped by the spring . Mine was passenger rear

Thanks for the response.

I checked the spring and both sides of the parking cable are working fine.

I give up taking it in lets see what they say.
