Below are some pictures of a modification I did to the SR20VET Turbine housing to allow for the use of the Avenir or Bluebird Jpipe elbow since the stock SR20VET Jpipe will not work, enjoy.

Stock SR20VET Turbine vs Modified SR20VET Turbine Housing

SR20VET Turbine Wheel Inducer and Exducer measurements

Just a bunch of various pics of the process

That's a great idea! A whole lot better than cutting a custom flange.

FYI cause i've heard statements made that the SR20VET was ball bearing and i'm here to tell you the at least the 14411-8H600 is not ball bearing and that's the part number tag on the above SR20VET turbo it has the 4 bolt pattern on the inlet side of the turbine housing where the CHRA connects whereas the ball bearing units have a 6 bolt pattern just like the S14 S15 and the W11 ball bearing turbo's do.

We have rebuilt several VET turbos and all of them are journal bearing. Another cool thing is they use the exact same compressor wheel part number as the GTIR turbo.

good shit Charlie, you might be able to make a front mount with some bushings to be sold with this.

y2kg20 made those "L" brackets and that's what I used for my vet

Thanks man, I made an "L" bracket but still not decided if I wanna make it able to be solidly mounted and or optional solid and or bushing mounted

mine was solid mounted.
but when we put my motor into Jorge's p11,
we cut a sway bar endlink bushing between the "L" bracket and the subframe and it helped with vibrations alot
