That's like asking how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop
A one, a two, a three!
Not sure why you want to put a fuse in that main starter wire, but if so, consider a circuit breaker instead. That way in the winter when it blows 5 times while trying to start it you just have to reset it
i did a battery relocation and was thinking on the safe side putting a circuit breaker or fuse i case it made contact with the body.
Well depending on how you routed the wire and what it is covered with should help give you an idea. If the insulation is against any sharp edges or anything it could run through then yeah I would. In that case for sure get a circuit breaker and not a fuse. Breaker of say 300a may be $100-150 but if you blow a fuse and have to fix and find out why you may go through a lot more $$ in fuses.
Thank you snicker and i will get a circuit breaker to be safe. in case of anything i know my car wont be FIRE up.
