I am building up a collection of parts that didn't help me sort my car's issues.

What is the best way to keep parts like spark plug wires, fuel pump, dizzy cap and rotor from going bad over an extended period of time?

Also store the plug wires away from any electical device. Electrical devices produce ozone which degrades rubber and some plastic materials. Same goes for storage of tires.
