Not sure if this would be the right area for this.. but we'll go with it.

I know in the past that the subframe bushings in my SE-R got pretty dry and rotted.. so I'm thinking about seeing if we can get some poly ones made for the G20 (P10 first of course!!) :)

Does anyone have a P10 subframe out of the car that they could measure the dimensions of the subframe bushing area?

Thanks.

They look very similar in size and shape to S13/Z32 subframe bushings... I wonder if they are the same part number? I will research this a little.

If they are the same, utilizing an aluminum bushing, along with Poly Motor Mounts would REALLY tighten up the drivetrain.

Be a baller Kyle... get [email protected] to make you some solid aluminum subframe bushings. Might rattle your teeth loose but it'll be SOLID! :)

Whatever!! Poly is already pushing it for me with vibrations and all. I don't know for a fact that my subframe bushings are shot.. but being that I live in AZ, it's hot and dry here... and the fact that every other piece of rubber for the suspension has rotted long ago.. it makes sense that the subframe bushings would also be rotted or sloppy by now.

The custom aluminum subframe bushings were actually made by [email protected] :) And there is NO way I'm putting solid aluminum bushings in my subframe.

As for what the status is, [email protected] provided me measurements of the factory units...and someone I was chatting with tonight said he could probably make a set.. We'll see.
